Frank A. Baldanzi, CPA
Frank Baldanzi is the principal in the accounting firm of Baldanzi
& Company, CPA. Founded in 1985, the firm has grown to serve the San
Francisco Bay Area and Peninsula. Prior to opening the firm, Frank was
associated with the San Francisco office of a national CPA firm.
His particular area of expertise is in estate and income tax
planning.
Frank is a third-generation San Matean. After graduation from
Serra High School, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in
Accounting from the University of San Francisco in 1975. He currently
maintains his home in San Francisco.
Catherine M. Kenny, EA
Catherine Kenny has been with Baldanzi & Company since 2000. Cathi,
as she prefers to be called, specializes in individual and small business
taxation and is proficient in the setup and use of many of the popular
computerized accounting systems for small businesses and personal financial
management. She has been an enrolled agent since 1991.
Cathi was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She currently resides in Millbrae
with her husband and their four children.
Doug Spradlin, CPA
Doug Spradlin joined Baldanzi & Company, where he specializes in individual and non-profit taxation, in 2007. He currently holds a CPA from the State of Georgia and is awaiting his certification in California.
Born and raised in Florida, Doug received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida State University. He worked for the Atlanta office of a national CPA firm prior to serving as an auditor and in corporate controller positions for over 15 years, including projects based in London, Central Europe, and Africa.
During his free time, Doug enjoys travel, music, and painting watercolors, and has occasionally been seen on stage at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House. Doug moved to San Francisco in 1999 where he now lives with his wife and their son.
Judy Tyson, CPA
Judy Tyson joined Baldanzi & Company, CPA in 2008. She brings with her 20 years of financial experience ranging across wholesale distribution, public accounting and non-profit industries. Judy enjoys working with individuals in tax preparation and is accomplished with small businesses in setting up internal accounting controls and financial systems and analysis.
A native San Mateo resident, Judy graduated from Aragon High School in 1983 before earning her Bachelors Degree in Accounting from California State Hayward University in 1987 and her CPA license in 1993. She currently maintains her home in San Carlos with her husband and their three sons.
Barbara Scholz
Barbara Scholz joined Baldanzi & Company in 2001. She is a California
Tax Education Council Registered Tax Preparer. Her specialties lie in
individual and trust taxation.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, she graduated from Mercy High School
in Burlingame and went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in International
Relations and a second Bachelors Degree in German from UC Davis in 1991.
Striving to keep up to date on current taxation issues, she has been attending
continuing education courses in taxation and accounting at the College
of San Mateo and through Spidell Seminars.

Nic Jordan
Nic Jordan joined Baldanzi & Company in 2009. He brings with him 10 years of accounting experience ranging from the setup and implementation of computerized financial systems to tax preparation, in multiple industries. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Nic received his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from UCLA.
Most recently, Nic was an accountant with a Washington, DC based CPA and consulting firm where he specialized in corporate, partnership, and non-profit taxation. He has a Masters Degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School and is currently studying for the California CPA exam.

Georgia Thiemann, EA
Georgia Thiemann has worked with Frank Baldanzi for over 20 years. She
is now working on an as needed basis specializing in Estate
Taxation.
A graduate of the University of California at Davis with a
BS in Mathematics, Georgia has been an enrolled agent since 1986. In 1996
she received her graduate degree in taxation from Hayward State University.
Janine M. Hanepen
Janine Hanepen is the Office Manager, overseeing the day-to-day administrative
functions of the office. She has been with the Company since 2005, and
for the previous five years was the office manager for an investment advisory
firm in Burlingame. It was Janines responsibility to keep in close
contact with clients and their brokerage firms to ensure that all client
needs were met and all administrative procedures were completed in a timely
manner.
Janine was born in San Francisco and raised on the Peninsula.
She currently resides in Millbrae with her fiancée and three of
their children.
